UDSKUDT

The Danish-French Chamber of Commerce, The French Institute, Business France and CBS Feminist Society are delighted to invite you to a conference organized on March 18th at Copenhagen Business School about the topic: "The Strategic Impact of CSR".

How can companies serve the common good and make society better?

Sustainable development is known to all, and has become essential for the image of a company. However, beyond the simple fashion phenomenon, all companies have not yet placed CSR at the heart of their strategic choices. Yet it is an unsuspected lever of innovations, motivations and transformations, to mobilize a company and generate a positive impact in its environment.

The conference will start with an introduction on the topic “How Do Corporations React to Shareholder Engagement on Corporate Social Responsibility Issues?”.  This short presentation will be done by Jean-Pascal Gond, Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at Cass Business School in London since 2012.  Learn more about his profile here.

This presentation will be followed by a round-table with 3 companies, the participants are: - Emil Kocsis Aali, Sustainability advisor at VELUX, who will tell us more about the sustainability policy developed at Velux. - Mikael Zakarian, CFO of Microsoft Denmark, who will explain how Microsoft focuses on LGBT inclusion in the company. - Olivier Mey, HR Director Nordics at L’Oréal, who will talk about Diversity & Inclusion at L’Oréal. The conference will be moderated by Vibe Puggaard, Managing Director at Hays Specialist Recruitment.

CBS Feminist Society is a student driven initiative working to raise awareness and highlight the importance of gender equality in everyday life, education and in the world of business. Driven and run by students, CBS Feminist Society aims to bridge the gap between students and businesses and provide skills and ideas on how to work with and for gender equality.

The number of seats is limited, so please sign up below on March 14th at the latest. Cancellations must be received no later than March 16th to avoid a no-show fee of DKK 250.

he conference will be followed by a networking cocktail with wonderful wines offered by Les Grands Chais de France as well as delicious eclairs from Queen’s Delight.
